GAH!! Feels like forever since my last update. I'm going make it up to you guys with many pictures. :D

We had an election a few weeks ago to choose the representative of 1st year FCSIT students. I was nominated but didn't win. Congrats to Henry who won! Woohoo!!!

Just last week, I participated in the Digi's Challenge for Change workshop, also known as Startup Weekend internationally. Very grateful for the wonderful experience and wealth of knowledge I've accumulated during the 48 hours. Met up with a lot of cool people too. Especially Jason, the super nice mentor from NZ.

Yesterday!

We ate and relaxed while watching a Spongebob movie. All dozed off and forgot about practise. Except our captain. He woke us all up and we went back to our rooms around 5am. o.0

And just this morning, Derrick and I walked around the campus to witness the various events happening.  There's the fishing competition. 1st prize is a motorcycle and 2nd is an iPad. What is there to lose? At BHEP, our university's version of Master Chef takes place. There's the auto show. Talked with an uncle who owns a VW beetle and pays only RM11.20 annually for road tax. I think I better let the pictures do the talking. :D

Dead yet?

I was afraid for awhile that my blog might fail like its predecessors. How I wish I could be more active online I do not possess a broadband modem and the wireless connection is oblivious at my room. My university life is hectic because I took part in various activities which I enjoy very much. But practice sessions for the coming street dance competition consume too much time and it makes me lack sleep. 

From the time when last night’s practice session ended around 2am till now, I have not slept a wink at all. FYI, it is 6.49am now. I plan to walk over to my faculty around 7am so that I can go online. Then I’ll upload this post and do some other stuff that I desperately need to complete using Internet. For example, Facebooking. Then I’ll sleep in SIR (Student Interaction Room) till 10am which is the time when my first lecture of the day starts. SIR is a room reserved for FIT students only. Hurrah!!! 

Recently, my friends and I participated in the 30 Hours Famine program as volunteers. Aside from the negativity such as exhaustion, starvation and severe lack of sleep, it was very rewarding overall. I learnt more about appreciation and gratification. That 30 hours made me reminisce my mum’s cooking. How I regret the times when I detest and complain about the dishes she prepared. I miss my mum. :’)

This is a relatively short post because I wanna take a bath soon and then start walking towards my faculty. Which takes around 10 minutes. That’s if I don’t fall asleep or faint on my way there. Wish me luck.

Recently

To all the recent readers visiting my blog for political contents, I apologize beforehand because this is going to be personal. It is my blog after all.

So recently I've been to a dinner at Kingwood hotel. The event was 'zuo sou' in Chinese. Don't really know how to explain it in English. So the grand event is the celebration of 黄为安's 90th birthday and the 60th marriage anniversary of his bond with his wife. On that very day was also the birthday of Nicholas Sim, the grandson and also a very good friend of Xavier's. And I got invited by Xavier. This is so long-winded, I know. Bear with me.

So it was an enjoyable event throughout the night, I had the pleasure of meeting a very lovely lady by the name of Linda. She has a very good sense of humour. Kept me and Xavier laughing throughout the night. Mr. Arthur and his wife was dining at another table that night. So it was a shame that they're not on the same table with us. As they say, the more the merrier.

And so the rest of this post's content would be about my dilemma. Which has been resolved. I don't want to elaborate. I'll just post whatever things I posted on my Facebook. See if you guys can get the gist of it.

Friday the 13th, 2011

It was a hazy and cool morning. Like a foggy forest shortly after dawn, I can feel the shivers creeping in slowly through my pants. Was wearing a pair of very thin pyjama pants after all. :D


I totally forgot what I did in the morning. Right now I'm only having flashes of playing Maple. Sounds lifeless, aye? ;)

Went to school around noon shortly afterwards for the book sale. Actually, I just went to pass some books to my friends who are in Lower 6 this year and to accompany someone but she didn't show up. =3=

Hot afternoon. I stayed in and took a short nap. Actually wanted to watch Priest but Ivan didn't give me a proper reply so I slept on. Ming Yih called and told me to be at Infinity CC by 7 cause we discussed about playing DotA the night before. 

So I rushed to the place and drank Chinese tea while waiting for the gang to arrive. Texted people to kill the bore. Half an hour later, they showed up. The 1st match was a piece of cake. 3 leavers. 2nd one nearly the same but posed a lil challenge. 1 leaver. XD

Here's the climax. The cybercafe closed early. Everyone got shoo-ed out of the place. We were out by 9.40pm, I guess. The guy who ran the place said its unlucky that night so they're closing up. I made up my mind to go home instead of hanging out further with the gang. Bid goodbye to my friends and rode off. On my way home, I saw not one but three lightning strikes. SCARED THE SHIT OUT OF ME. I had 2 cellphones in a pocket and assumed that it'll attract the charge. Thank God for His blessings that I reach home safely.

Stayed up to play Maple till 4am. Survived Black Friday. :D

Lazy, my #1 word

Obviously, we all can figure how this post would be like. Short, boring and lack of contents. Hahaha...

First of all, I am considering my alter ego as Dr. J. Apparently, today I had 3 'customers'. I tried my best to help them with their problems by lending my ear and giving golden advice (golden wtf??! can sell one ma? XD). They felt better by the end of the counseling session so I'm positive I'm good at this. Hehe.

My part time job at PC Fair ended too quickly. I miss working suddenly. OMG!!! I want to chase after that Maxis Broadband girl!!! SHE SO CUTE LIKE THE EASTER BUNNIES!! XD

Book fair at my school tomorrow. Going to take a look and certify some documents at the same time. Kill 2 birds with a shot. Cause I use guns. :D

Where should I start?

So many things to blog about. But I've been putting everything on hold. Procrastination mode at work. :D

I'm gonna start with the hottest topic. McD did it weeks ago and now it's Pizza Hut's turn!!!

From Monday to Friday, you get to enjoy different sets of meal at 50% discount! This is seriously good for our long time bleeding wallet. And it also boosts the economy. If a lot of people visits Pizza Hut, that is. Be sure to like Pizza Hut Malaysia's Fb page here for more updates in the future. I think I might just go and visit Pizza Hut with my friends tomorrow. No procrastinating when eating! YUM YUM!!! 

2011 for the Chinese

I have to admit the fireworks this year is... well... the same as last year but lesser. And like always, it is so disorientated. WHY NO TEAMWORK?!!?? BURN MONEY ALSO PLEASE BURN TOGETHER LAH!!!

HAHAHA!!! Lazy to blog too much. And I broke my promise. I said to blog the next day after the recent post. But I'm 52 minutes late. Who cares?

Yes, I'm still playing. It was cool at school today cause we get to watch something meaningful. Been awhile since I watched anything so emotional. I'mma make this short cause its like 2.++am and my mum's gonna depart for Kuching in 3 more hours or so.

Something happened to Maple today, causing me to feel extreme boredom. Don't know why so don't ask. Luckily the server was restored around 9.++pm, allowing me to cure the boredom until now. I created a TinierMe account. Check it out here.

While the server was still down, I went out to 'yam char' with David and his friend. I gotta remember his name the next time we meet =.=. We chatted until 11 something before going back home. And the funniest thing happened to me on the way home XD.

Driving out of Tiong Hua road into the roundabout, I drove a little too fast maybe. Someone honked me and I was forced to stop because they're the police. I was so obedient throughout the incident. They asked for my license, where was I and where am I headed to. I gave them my L license first cause I couldn't find 'P'. They were like 'Abu... Your bike's sticker is P but you're only L'. I was like 'Wait, I find my P first'. Then they noticed the address on my license is at Limbang. I had to explain to them about me living in Brunei before. LAME! Haha. Then I found my P and showed it to them. After that, one of them wanna see my 'lotek'. Z.. He was holding my key. I was looking like blur blur. He asked the 2nd time. "Uh... Kunci saya kat kamu sana." He went blur and handed over my keys. The senior policeman took a look at the 'lotek' and gave me back all my documents. I was off the hook! Not sure why but I feel so damn excited after the incident. WTF?

After that, I was mapling, reading Darker Than Black - Shikkoku no Hana, chatting and basically lazing around like an asshole although exam is just around the corner. Supposed to dedicate a post to Princess Jacq but the incident tonight was too exciting not to be posted XD.

Gonna do a cover on the Honda car show at Sibu Gateway tomorrow (If they're still there, that is).
