1st day of 2011

This post is delayed a bit. I was feeling too depressed to write about anything last night. The story telling begins not right after 12AM but the first morning of 2011 that I woke up on. Around 8AM something, perhaps.

I received a text around 9AM from Wes. Telling me to standby because he needs a transport home. Yes, I am the 'Transporter'. But I specialize in 2-wheel drives instead of 4-wheel's. =.=

Around 10-ish, I drove over to his GF's house. Picked him up and drove all the way up to his grandmother's house where he is currently staying. And the shock of our lives began from that point onwards...

The gate requires a remote (which he left at home last night) so we're stuck outside. Wes tried calling but we can hear the ringtone of her grandmother's cellphone instead. Meaning nobody is at home. Later on, he found out the grandmother left for Sarikei that early morning from other relatives. But she forgot her cellphone. We journeyed to his other relative's house in hopes of a spare remote. I thought it wasn't far so I didn't remove my motorcycle keys and left them hanging in the keyhole. But as the walk took longer and longer time, I start to panic (kena scolded by Wes lagi. WTF~). What if someone drove it away? TOTALLY IMBA!!!

Nobody's home. We walked back. OMG!!! He start to panic cause if he can't enter the house, he can't bath as there are no change of clothes for him. Luckily there was another relative living just beside the house who had a spare remote. But it was so dusty and ancient. And it didn't work. The relative was tweaking with the device using a screwdriver. We stood under the sun. Waiting... and waiting... and waiting...

Due to my impatience, I started to suggest that we should just climb in and elaborating about how easy it would be. Wes gave in to my idea because he also cannot stand the heat already. I climbed like an expert. Halfway through, my jeans got stuck to the gate. As soon as I untangled it, the gate opened. The remote finally worked. They were laughing at me. =.=

Next challenge... To find the original remote. We ran around the house. Then Wes found it in the car. Next would be the car keys. This challenge felt like forever. We scoured the entire house. Upstairs, downstairs and every drawer we can find. I found it behind a pile of papers and tissues around the television. LOL!

While he bathed, I took a short nap. Went back to his GF's house and had lunch there. Yummy~ But I am the only one who liked the lunch a lot. Nothing interesting happened along the way. Played Texas Hold Em at Roger's house for the afternoon. That was it. My best new year day. :D

I feel totally lame. LOL!

P.S. I MISS YOU, I REALLY DO.
