Malaysia's Media Malady

Currently our country is sick with a disease called 'Malaysia's Media Malady'.

This disease is making our journalism industry a big joke and painting the worst image of it to the world. Why? We always have to ask for the reason. Because Utusan Malaysia is making itself the clown. From a respected national daily degraded to a lowly gossip paper, I find it ridiculous. How can they post so many humourous things? How can they make so many mistakes? I can go on all day long...

Click here for one of the funniest mistake. It's a failed attempt to accuse Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim of making racist statements. Either the journalists of Utusan Malaysia have hearing problems or failure to comprehend their own native language? HOW EMBARRASSING!!!

Newspapers nowadays are boring and lack of appropriate articles. Filled with useless remarks or futile attempts of defaming, I feel like I'm wasting my time reading it. Everyday you will see a lot of remarks by assemblymen regarding the opposition party's actions or publicizing of every BN party's gesture towards helping the community. All the little things. You will never see the opposition party being mentioned. Except in a bad light. How biased. Freedom of media? I puke at the thought of it.

I still have a lot things to comment about but its 1.34am and I have to be up early for work tomorrow.
