The Dilemma about DotA

It's Father's Day today. I actually had to search online to assure myself that today is definitely Father's Day. Seriously lame, I know. Due to the occasion, I suddenly have a strong urge to blog about it. Few days ago (or weeks), my dear daughter, Nita raised a question. Here is how it goes: 'DotA or GF?'

Let me break it down to you, just in case you're too dumb to comprehend the short question consisting of 2 abbreviations. It means to make a choice between the game (Defend of the Ancients) or the girlfriend (whoever you're dating). This question is directed to all the male species who play the aforementioned game and is in a relationship with a female at the same time. MY GOD?!?! WHY DO I SOUND SO SCIENTIFIC?!?!

Before I state my answer, I'm gonna tell you all what most guys commented on Nita's status. Most of them chose GF. Some just chose DotA for fun or tease.

Here's my answer: DotA.

Why? You will understand why if you've watched ice1cube's video which talks about Starcraft 2 and girls. Too bad he deleted his channel or else I would've linked it here and save myself the time to type so much bullshit.

Wait.... While blogging halfway, I went to YouTube and searched for ice1cube one last time. Miraculously, there was someone who made backup downloads and re-uploaded them.

So, I'm just gonna summarise my part. Why DotA? At the dead of the night around 3am when nobody is there to hear you out or there's no safer way to express your emotions, DotA is just around the corner with the click of a button. Sometimes the players in one of your game might surprise you. They may even listen to your problems and share. Great therapy, ain't it? :D

But then again, you guys also need to learn how to appreciate. When there's a girl who cares about you and is waiting for your reply in the midst of a conversation, please don't leave them hanging lah. At least have the courtesy to tell them that you're busy. And if they need you, leave your game (T&C may vary depending on how much they need you).
