DotA 2

If you play DotA, you would know about DotA 2. But if you're a DotA fanatic, you would be watching the live stream of the International DotA 2 Championships like me. 5 days for 16 teams to go all out and win 1,000,000 USD.

No clue at all about DotA 2 but still interested? Watch the trailer below.

I'm watching the Winner Bracket Quarterfinal match as I blog about this. Scythe.SG seem to be pawning their opponent but MYM is very aggressive at sieging against their attacker's defensive towers. Here's a snapshot of the match which I caught in the midst of a gank.

36 minute sharp. MYM and Scythe clashing all out in the forest.
Comments about the game? I think it is very nicely done. The graphics are amazing and if the DotA 2 world is to come alive, everything would look the same as in the game because it is more realistic but at the same time still out-of-this-world feeling. No change to the gameplay and technical aspects of the game, I think. Roshan looks badass and more tank. And there's the "reconnect" feature just like in League of Legends.

According to the general audience however, the general populace of DotA players is in disagreement with my views. Most of them just cannot accept the new outlook and prefer the graphics of Warcraft 3 instead. Some regarded the specifications to run DotA 2 is too high and not worth to be playing because there were no significant changes. Basically just DotA with a new skin and the "reconnect" feature.

Just as team Scythe are pushing into the base are of MYM, the video feed just disappears. I wanna spam curses so badly right now. I stayed up till now which is 4am to watch this game!!! ARGHHH!!!

No replay? The match is still on-going!! *&^%$#!!
Anyway, if you're interested in getting the game, just go to www.dota2.com and look for this.
